Google Assistant can now provide the option to change the password or account password if it has been leaked. This feature is already available in the Google Chrome Android browser.
Leaker Max Weibach revealed, he showed a pop up column that contained a warning if the password could potentially be leaked. The browser then directs the user to change it with the Change automatically option.
If that option is selected, a new pop-up column will appear that will allow users to change their password directly via Google Assistant, as reported by The Verge, Monday (9/5/2022).
Actually, this Google assistant feature was announced at the Google I/O event last year. But it only works for a certain number of sites.
So when clicked, Google Assistant will direct the user directly to the site to change the password, and use Chrome’s built-in features to create and save new login details.
