Beritabali/ist/Vice Governor Cok Ace Appreciates the Bali Ministry of Law and Human Rights for taking firm action against foreigners.

Deputy Governor Tjokorda Oka Artha Ardhana Sukawati (Cok Ace) representing the Governor attended the handover ceremony (sertijab) and greeted the Head of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kakanwil Kemenkumham) Bali Province in Badung, Wednesday (11/5/2022) ).
Anggiat Napitupulu, SS, M.Si served as Head of Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights in Bali replacing Jamaruli Manihuruk, SH. MH. MM who occupies a new position as Head of the Center for Research and Development of Law and Human Rights Kemenkumham RI.

The ceremony was attended by Expert Staff of the Minister of Law and Human Rights for Political and Security Affairs Ambeg Paramarta, Regents/Mayors throughout Bali or their representatives and other invitees.

The Governor of Bali in his remarks read by Deputy Governor Cok Ace expressed his gratitude to Jamaruli Manihuruk, for his hard work, work ethic and high dedication while carrying out his duties in Bali Province.

For his dedication, the Bali Provincial Government has given the Kerthi Bali Sewaka Nugraha award to the person concerned as a form of appreciation for the performance and support shown during his tenure in Bali.

The governor said that this award was given to the head of a vertical agency in Bali who was considered to have an extraordinary contribution to the Balinese people, especially in realizing the vision of “Nangun Sat Kerthi Loka Bali” through the Planned Universe Development Pattern towards a New Era of Bali.

He added that the person entitled to receive the Kerthi Bali Sewaka Nugraha Award is a person who is dedicated, implementing policies, programs, activities and services/services for the welfare of the wider community with the Bali Provincial Government, especially in handling the Covid-19 pandemic.

“With the support of various components, especially the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, Bali has become one of the areas with the best handling of Covid-19,” he said.

The handling of the spread of Covid-19 in the Bali area, which is inhabited by many foreigners, was carried out very well by the Bali Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights under the command of Jamaruli Manihuruk.

The deportation of foreigners who violate the health protocol rules does not hesitate to be carried out in the midst of the sluggish tourism sector due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

“This step shows the firm stance of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights which prioritizes the safety and health of the Balinese people,” he added.

Moreover, the Governor also appreciates firm action in taking action against foreigners who abuse Balinese culture and damage the image of tourism.
