Together with the New Poster of Top Gun: Maverick, You Can Have Your Own Nickname

Party Paramount Pictures has released character posters to highlight new and old stars from Top Gun: Maverick. Each poster introduces a character from the highly anticipated sequel, highlighting their Navy nicknames.

And besides, if you want a chance to become a Top Gun pilot or just want to have a cool nickname that fits your character, there’s website separately for that. Ahead of release Top Gun: Maverick On May 27th, the official website for the film will give you a suitable nickname for a pilot while dressing you up as if you were ready to fly together. Tom Cruise. And to get the nickname, all you have to do is log in to the site, type in the name, and answer some random questions about type and personality. When you’re done, you’ll get a chance to take AR photos with a helmet bearing a new name that makes you feel fit to fly among the best.

Returning to the character posters introducing the pilots’ nicknames, the first character poster is dedicated to veteran pilot Pete “Maverick” Mitchell (Tom Cruise). All seven remaining character posters are dedicated to Maverick students: Bob (Lewis Pullman), Coyote (Greg Tarzan Davis), Hangman (Glen Powell), Fanboy (Danny Ramirez), Payback (Jay Ellis), Phoenix (Monica Barbaro), and Bradley “Rooster” Bradshaw (Miles Teller). And one more poster shows Jon Hamm’s character named Cyclone.

Other cast members for this sequel are Jennifer Connelly, Ed Harris, Manny Jacinto, Bashir Salahuddin, Jay Ellis, Jake Picking, Raymond Lee, and Jean Louisa Kelly. Directed by Joseph Kosinski — who previously collaborated with Cruise on Oblivion, the script was written by Ehren Kruger, Eric Warren Singer, and Christopher McQuarrie.

After more than thirty years of service as one of the Navy’s top aviators, Pete “Maverick” Mitchell (Tom Cruise) is in place, serving as a brave test pilot and always avoiding the promotions he is given.
