In second place is basketball superstar LeBron James, who earns USD 80 million/Rp 1.4 trillion excluding basketball. The combined total is USD 121.2 million/Rp 2.1 trillion with USD 41.2 million/Rp 731 billion earned while playing for the LA Lakers.

Then, there is Cristiano Ronaldo who is next on the list with a nominal salary of around USD 115 million / IDR 2 trillion last year.

The money is divided equally because USD 60 million / IDR 1 trillion is obtained from football and the rest is obtained from activities off the field.

Another footballer, Neymar, comes fourth after taking home $95 million/Rp 1.6 trillion of which $70 million/Rp 1.2 trillion of which comes from his high salary at PSG.

Then there is Stephen Curry in the top five thanks to the USD 92.8 million/Rp 1.64 trillion he has earned in the last 12 months.

The basketball star, considered the greatest shooter of all time, made $45.8 million/Rp 802 billion on the court and $47 million/Rp 837 billion.

Another basketball player is Kevin Durant, where the Brooklyn Nets player earns USD 92.1 million / Rp 1.64 trillion. Then there is one of the tennis players who collected USD 90 million / Rp 1.6 trillion. He is Roger Federer.

Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez appears at the eighth position on the list with earnings of USD 90 million/Rp 1.6 trillion overall.
