The Legend Shares Opportunities for the Indonesian U23 National Team at the 2021 SEA Games

1NEWS – Indonesian football legend Kurniawan Dwi Yulianto gave his opinion on the chances of the U23 Indonesian National Team at the 2021 SEA Games in Vietnam.

The sport (sport) of football at the 2021 SEA Games in Vietnam will be held from 6-22 May 2022.

Currently the ten participating countries are still in the group phase with one or two matches remaining.

“Only with wins in the last two matches can the U-23 Indonesian National Team secure a chance to qualify from the group phase,” said Kurniawan when contacted by 1NEWS, Thursday (12/5).

The U23 Indonesian National Team, which are members of Group A, still have two matches left.

Shin Tae Yong’s squad will meet the Philippines on Friday (13/5) at 16.00 WIB and Myanmar on Sunday (15/5) at 16.00 WIB.

Currently, the Garuda Squad sits in fourth place in the 2021 SEA Games Group A standings with a score of three points.

Of the two matches that have been played, the Indonesian U-23 National Team recorded one win from Timor Leste and one defeat from Vietnam.
