Persis Solo officially announced Andri Ibo as the team’s new recruit, Wednesday (18/5/2022).

Andri Ibo said he was proud to be part of the Persis Solo squad.

Andri Ibo also feels salute to Persis Solo’s hard struggle to be promoted to League 1.

Persis Solo won a ticket to League 1 after successfully coming out as champion of Liga 2 2021.

“Obviously I’ve seen how this team fights well from a player standpoint,” said the 32-year-old player, said Andri Ibo.

“And the management in order to qualify for League 1,” he said.

He believes that Persis Solo can compete in the 2022-2023 Liga 1 title.

Moreover, the club nicknamed Laskar Sambernyawa is quite serious in preparing the team to welcome the 2022-2023 Liga 1.

Namely by bringing in several new faces, including Samsul Arif, Gavin Kwan, Kevin Gomes, and Muhammad Riyandi.

“A very serious team to face the tough competition next season,” said Andri Ibo.

“The presence of players who have previously played with me such as Samsul Arif and also Gavin makes me feel very comfortable.”

“Including the presence of Coach Jackson in the team. I hope to give my best in this team,” said the former centre-back.

Previously, Andri Ibo strengthened Persik Kediri since 2020.

Together with Persik Kediri, he recorded 21 matches and collected three goals.
