Leave Manchester United, Dean Henderson Immediately Join Newcastle

Manchester United are just one step away from releasing their goalkeeper, Dean Henderson, to Newcastle.

Crazy Ball – Henderson reportedly 😊 departs for Tyneside on Wednesday for talks over a potential move this summer. The plan is that the 25-year-old goalkeeper will be on loan for one season.

However, it is also possible that Henderson will sign a permanent transfer deal to Eddie Howe’s club.

Newcastle had previously failed to loan Henderson from Manchester United in January, and offered Martin Dubravka to Old Trafford. Now, they are back to a new offer, in the hope of securing the stopper service ahead of next season.

Henderson played 26 times last season. However, he has made just three appearances this season, not even playing in the Premier League. Henderson is determined to get regular playing time next season, ahead of the World Cup.

He is currently under contract with United until 2025, having last signed less than two years ago. Revealed SunSportThe Old Trafford club are ready to recoup some of Henderson’s high salary of £120,000 in a week.

However, Newcastle have several other options, if they do not succeed in signing Henderson from Manchester United ahead of next season. Namely, Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga and Bernd Leno from Arsenal. In addition, the Toon coach is also monitoring West Brom’s mainstay goalkeeper, Sam Johnstone.

Regardless of which goalkeeper he will land, Eddie Howe believes he can land his top-flight target on a loan deal. “We’ve got Matty Targett, and that’s an example of how well the market works,” Howe said.

“I’m certainly not against it, I even like and have taken advantage of the loan market in the past. It’s about getting the right players, and if that means we can borrow him, the deal will be on loan.”

Dean Henderson insists on leaving Manchester United at the end of this season, as he wants more regular playing time. Reportedly, two Championship clubs who have just received promotion next season, Fulham and Bournemouth, are both competing to secure his services.
