The G20 Summit (Summit) which will take place in Bali at the end of 2022 is attended by high-ranking officials from various countries and has very busy activities.

On that occasion, President Joko Widodo also encouraged the use of electric-powered operational vehicles. The goal, through the use of environmentally friendly cars, can show the commitment of the Indonesian people in addressing carbon emission reductions related to the 2015 Paris Agreement or UNFCCC on climate change mitigation, adaptation, and international financing.

To support the G20 Summit, on March 25, 2022 PLN launched the SPKLU Ultra Fast Charging program at several points in Bali. This activity was inaugurated directly by President Joko Widodo.

DFSK also participated in the activity which took place at the ITDC Nusa Dua Central Parking, by bringing DFSK Gelora E.

This is how DFSK participates in helping the G20 Summit run smoothly in terms of mobility and logistics.

“President Joko Widodo’s mandate to use electric vehicles as an operational vehicle during the G20 Summit is a means of proving that the Indonesian automotive industry is advanced and ready to become the basis for the development of electric vehicles in Indonesia,” said Marketing Head of PT Sokonindo Automobile, Achmad Rofiqi.

“DFSK has participated in the development of the electric vehicle ecosystem in the country by marketing the DFSK Gelora E which is 100 percent powered by batteries and is the first light electric commercial vehicle in Indonesia,” he added.

DFSK Gelora E in Indonesia is offered in two models, namely minibus and blind van. Both can be used as operational vehicles to help smooth the mobility of the G20 Summit participants. Mainly as a shuttle vehicle that supports smooth logistics during the event.
