Madam Pang Angry Thai Players Provocation Indonesian U-23 National Team

1NEWS – The manager of the Thai national team, Nualphan Lamsam or who is familiarly called Madam Pang, was not happy with the provocations made by his players against the U-23 Indonesian National Team.

As is known, the 2021 SEA Games semifinal match between the U-23 Indonesian national team against Thailand which was held at the Thien Truong Stadium, Vietnam, Thursday (19/5) was running hot.

The match ended with Thailand’s 1-0 victory over Indonesia through Weerathep Pomphan’s goal in extra time in the 95th minute to be exact.

Initially, the game was a 0-0 draw at full time, forcing the match to be continued with extra time.

At the end of the extra time, there was a heated clash between the two teams which resulted in referee Yahya Mohammed Ali Hassal Al Mulla issuing four red cards, three of which were for Indonesian U-23 national team players.

Thailand’s William Weidersjoe was the first to get a red card for protesting against the linesman.

One minute later, Indonesia U-23 national team player, Firza Andika received a red card for committing a hard violation while preventing an opponent who was carrying out an attack.

Meanwhile, two other players, Ricky Kambuaya, and Rachmat Irianto, received red cards after being involved in a commotion with a Thai player who provoked Firza’s violation.
