Persis Solo again added two midfield players in the latest transfer market, one of which was a young player.

The two players in question are former Persekat Tegal player, Firmansyah and former Indonesian U-16 national team player, Hamsa Lestaluhu.

Firmansyah was recruited by Persis Solo because he was considered the spirit of the game for Persekat Tegal in Liga 2 2021.

Last season, this 25-year-old player always appeared as a starter at Persekat. Playing for 809 minutes, Firmansyah contributed one goal.

He had loaned Persekat to Dewa United. Firmansyah was fielded in three matches in the last 8 of Liga 2 2021.

In the semifinal round and the struggle for promotion tickets to League 1, Firmansyah was only a warmer for Dewa United’s bench.

The player from Malang admitted that he was ready to give his best performance if given the opportunity by coach Jacksen F Tiago to play.

“For example, if the coach trusts me to play, I am ready to put everything I have in order to play optimally,” said Firmansyah, in a release.

“Hopefully this team can achieve the targets that the players and management want,” he added.

Meanwhile, Hamsa Lestaluhu also wants to contribute more to the Persis Solo team. He wants to help the outstanding team so that they can be called back to the Indonesian national team.

The 19-year-old midfielder once led the Indonesian U-16 national team to win a friendly tournament organized by Vietnam, the 2017 Nhựa Tiền Phong U-16 Cup.

In the championship which was participated by Vietnam, Myanmar, Indonesia, and Chinese Taipei, Hamsa Lestaluhu was named the best player.

“My personal target is, of course, to excel with Persis, if possible, to win League 1 next season,” said Hamsa Lestaluhu.

“Besides that, I also want to improve my performance so that I can regain my confidence in playing in the national team,” the former Deltras Sidoarjo player added.
