1NEWS, Political observer of the Citra Institute, Efriza sees the figure of the General Chairperson of the Gerindra Party, Prabowo Subianto as a presidential candidate who is busy working rather than doing social climbing (pansos).

Therefore, Prabowo’s name was included in the top survey for the presidential candidate chosen by the digital native generation, ahead of Ganjar Pranowo and Anies Baswedan.

“This happens because it seems that internet users are starting to get bored with the activities of presidential candidates who are suddenly flirtatious using social media,” said Efriza when contacted ACCURATE.COSaturday (21/5/2022).

These Internet Youth circles also feel that politicians who want to run for presidential candidacy are only busy with social services, but these politicians forget to provide understanding to the public who want to gain knowledge about the work of the presidential candidate.

“It turns out that the old and old-school style that Prabowo uses in using social media, with its rigidity in terms of photos, then the words that are conveyed, as well as the material given to the public, is actually considered by the public as soothing,” said Efriza.

Efriza said findings like this would give Prabowo a new meaning in the minds of the public, especially internet surfers.

“As a politician who will run in the election, it is more desirable to show the side of workers and show daily things, not to bother suddenly writing, busy making content, and busy trying to go viral in the content,” he concluded.

For information, the Jakarta Survey Institute (LSJ) conducted a survey on the electability of presidential or presidential candidates among digital natives.

The results of the survey show that Gerindra General Chair Prabowo Subianto is at the top of the presidential candidate list for voters who are actively surfing the internet.

“Prabowo is the most chosen generation of digital natives, superior to Anies Baswedan and Ganjar Pranowo,” said LSJ senior researcher, Fetra Ardianto, in a statement, Thursday (19/5/2022).

Fetra detailed the results of a survey that photographed Prabowo being chosen by 24.9% of the respondents or in first position. Then the Governor of DKI Anies Baswedan was chosen by 20.6%, followed by Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo 12.4% and Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno with 10.1%.

“The names of other presidential candidates have less significant electability,” said Fetra.[]
