Milan Skriniar put an end to any transfer rumors linking him with a move to the Premier League with his new contract at Inter Milan.
Crazy Ball – Both Inter Milan and centre-back Milan Skriniar are eager to agree a contract extension until the summer of 2027, according to reports in Italy, ending any rumors of the Slovak’s exit.
The 27-year-old has been one of the best defenders in Serie A over the past few years and has been the target of several Premier League clubs such as Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea and Manchester United.
While Inter Milan have been linked with the sale of players this summer to balance their books, there are plenty of rumors that either Milan Skriniar or Stefan de Vrij are the most likely players to be sold.
But now reports from Gazzetta dello Sport mentions that the Slovakia international wants to focus on continuing to be successful together Nerazzurri and that he and the club want to extend his contract, which expires at the end of next season, with a new four-year contract extension until 30 June 2027.
Milan Skriniar has been a mainstay in Inter Milan’s back line since joining from Sampdoria in 2017 with he was a key member of the team that won the Scudetto in 2020/2021 and also helped the club to success in the Scupercoppa and Coppa Italia this season.
In all he has made 215 appearances in all competitions for the club, contributing 11 goals and four assists. He has also featured in all but three of Inter Milan’s 38 Serie A games this season under Simone Inzaghi.
