Crazy Ball – The results of Indonesia vs Brunei Darussalam in the second match of Group A at the AFF U19 event which was held at the Patriot Candrabhaga Stadium, Bekasi, Monday (4/7) night, closed with a score of 7-0.
Shin Tae-yong’s squad managed to close the match in the first half with a landslide score through three Hokky Caraka goals when the match had only been running for two minutes, 14 and 46 minutes. Ronaldo Kwateh also scored a goal in the 11th minute, as well as two Arkhan goals. Fikri in the 18th and 20th minutes.
The game was really one-sided because everything was centered in front of the Brunei goal. Indonesia’s opponent this time really did not move, dead pace and difficulty to counterattack. Only a few times goalkeeper Cahya Supriadi made movements in guarding his goal, and even then it was not too threatening.
Indonesia again bagged a goal in the second half, when substitute Alfriyanto Nico also found the net in the 60th minute which brought Indonesia to seven goals without reply tonight.
In the second half, Brunei tried to appear more pressing, and several times tried to build attacks. However, their movement was successfully anticipated, so that no threat managed to break into Cahya’s goal.
Through this victory, Indonesia rose to second place in Group A standings. Meanwhile, Brunei’s two defeats tonight and in the first match made them sink to the bottom of the group.
The course of the match
Indonesia has been trying to appear pressing since the beginning of the match. Based on what was done, the Garuda Nusantara squad managed to take the lead when the game had only been running for two minutes, through Hokky Caraka’s goal. Starting from Kakang Rudianto who thrust the ball from the right side of the field, Hokky immediately grabbed the ball and netted it right in front of the Brunei goal.
It was Ronaldo Kwateh’s turn who managed to break into the Brunei goal in the 11th minute. Furthermore, the Indonesian players had the opportunity to bombard the Brunei goal again through the actions of Hokky and Arkhan Fikri until the match in the first half closed with a 6-0 goal party.
As if not satisfied with the result, two goal opportunities for the Garuda Nusantara squad were created early in the second half. Unfortunately, the efforts made by Razzaa Fachrezi Aziz have not succeeded in adding to the collection of goals for the Garuda Nusantara squad.
Alfriyanto Nico, who was just playing in the second half, managed to score Indonesia’s seventh goal in the 60th minute when he slotted home from the edge of the restricted area. GOAL!! 7-0 For Indonesia!
The onslaught of attacks continued by the Indonesian players against Brunei until the end of the match, although no additional goals were scored in the remainder of the match.
