Jose Mourinho Interested In Bringing Crystal Palace Striker To AS Roma

Crazy Ball – Manager Jose Mourinho has reportedly asked AS Roma for Crystal Palace forward Wilfried Zaha in the transfer window this summer, according to reports.

The Portuguese tactician proved capable of making a big impact after being given the job in the Italian capital at the start of last season, guiding the club to their first European trophy in 61 years and their first ever trophy since 2008 when they won the Europa Conference League in the 2021/2022 season.

Now Jose Mourinho is interested in strengthening his squad further for a bigger mission next season and now he is eyeing Crystal Palace forward Wilfried Zaha to bring him to the Olimpico, according to news reported by Fabrizio Romano.

The report further stated that internal talks had already taken place. No official bid has yet been sent to the Premier League club, but one could be formulated in the coming weeks, with things still in the early stages for now.

The 29-year-old forward’s contract with the South London club expires next year, making a deal for him significantly easier than in previous years when he was priced at more than IDR 1.4 trillion by the club.

Wilfried Armel Zaha clearly looks destined to play at a top club for the foreseeable future as he impressed for Crystal Palace following a failed short spell at Manchester United.

So far, the Ivory Coast international has scored 83 goals and 73 assists in 429 appearances across all competitions for the Eagles, including 15 goals and two assists in 37 games last season.
