Dan Stevens & Jessica Henwick Join Cuckoo Film Project

Neon just announced that the serial star LegionDan Stevens and Jessica Henwick (Love and Monsters) have joined the cast EuphoriaHunter Schafer in the horror film entitled Cuckoo. They will also be joined by Marton Csókás (Freelance), Greta Fernández (Santo) and Jan Bluthardt (Luz). The production process for this project has just been completed in Germany.

Cuckoo written and directed by Tilman Singer. More details about the plot and characters are being kept under wraps, but Neon has released a first look photo featuring Schafer in his feature film debut role. The film is slated to hit theaters sometime in 2023.

Dan Stevens gets recognition for his role in drama series Downton Abbey and serial Legion. He has also been involved in films The Guest, Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb, Colossal, Beauty and the Beast, Her Smell, Apostleand The Rentals.

Meanwhile, Jessica Henwick started stealing attention when she played Nymeria Sand on Game of Thrones. He later also starred in action films Underwater, Love and Monsters, and The Matrix Resurrections. He will next become two famous films including The Gray Man and Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery.

Cuckoo is Tilman’s second feature film after Luz which was released in 2018. He will reunite with Paul Faltz as cinematographer, Simon Waskow as composer, and Dario Mendez Acosta as production designer. Cuckoo produced by Ken Kao, Josh Rosenbaum, Markus Halberschmidt, Maria Tsigka, and Thor Bradwell.
