To note, Lili will be tried for allegedly receiving a number of facilities and tickets to watch the MotoGP Mandalika 2022 some time ago.

Meanwhile, member of the Corruption Eradication Committee, Syamsuddin Haris, said that he had not been able to conduct a trial in absentia until the reported absentee was summoned twice without valid reasons.

“It has not been possible (the trial in absentia) has to be absent twice without a valid reason, it has been regulated in Perdewas number 4 of 2021,” said Syamsuddin to reporters, Jakarta, Monday (11/7/2022).

He also explained that Lili’s previous absence was a valid reason because of the activities of the KPK service.

“That’s a valid reason, it doesn’t count. We’ll wait for it later. Hopefully there will be a surprise, just wait,” he said.

In this case, Lili and her 10-member entourage allegedly received the Mandalika MotoGP tickets for free. He is also said to have received hotel accommodation with a total value of around Rp. 90 million from Pertamina.

Dewas himself has studied the statements of a number of witnesses. One of them is the President Director of PT Pertamina (Persero) Nicke Widyawati.

The Pertamina president director has also given a written statement to the KPK Council and it will be used as additional information related to the case.

It is known that Lili is not the first time she has been reported to the KPK Council. Previously, he was reported on suspicion of abuse of authority as a KPK leader for personal gain.

The council decided that Lili was proven to have communicated with the party who was litigating at the KPK, namely the inactive Mayor of Tanjungbalai M Syahrial regarding the alleged bribery in the auction of positions.

For her actions, the Corruption Eradication Committee sentenced Lili to a 40 percent basic salary cut for 12 months. The sentence was increased because Lili was deemed not to have shown any remorse for her actions as a KPK leader. []
